Let's Get to the Root

We are not responsible for producing the foliage and fruit on this tree; God is responsible as we surrender our roots to produce His fruit. Trying harder does not produce the fruit that God desires to see in us. Fruit is the result of surrendering to be led by God. “Not my will but Yours [God] be done.” Before we begin, we need to define terms. Roots usually are hidden from view. They are not invisible, but they are real.
